This structure is extremely efficient and has a successful track record of establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with both clients and colleagues.
Most companies use the traditional Client > Project Manager > Linguists approach in which each linguist is selected from a database. This structure has two major drawbacks:
- As no one can understand all the cultures of the world, the project managers are often unable to efficiently communicate with at least part of the linguists. This miscommunication decreases quality and slows down projects.
- Because different linguists are selected from a database for each project, no specific team is attributed to each account and every single project goes through a learning curve.
At MC2 WIT, each project is sent to regional project managers or head linguists who make everything possible to have the same team work on all for projects for the same account. This structure has two major advantages:
- Each project manager or head linguist responsible for a region (Asia or Europe for example), knows perfectly well the cultural differences between the countries and communicate efficiently with each linguist.
- The linguistic teams are carefully selected for the first project and keep on working on the projects of their account to leverage the learning curve. Learning curves are leveraged to offer you the best quality possible in an excellent turnaround.
