Which ones of our sites and/or which pages of our site(s) should we translate?
While translating all your Web materials seems the best solution to reach your international customers, providers, employees and distributors, it’s not always feasible for obvious budgetary reasons.
The main criteria to consider are as follows:
- Linguistic capabilities of your audience (do they speak your language?)
- Importance of the pages
- Static characteristic of the pages (do you update them often?)
- International content of the pages
Which process should we use?
For big sites, we always recommend you to send us an file containing all the content extracted from your file. Our engineers then customize our CAT tools to make sure to protect the HTML codes specific to your strings and the process is seamless.
For small sites, the most efficient approach is usually a simple copy/paste of the pages/sections to translate. Once the translations are done, our regional project managers upload them directly in your CMS.
At MC2 WIT, we are perfectly aware that one solution does not fit all. We’ll study your project and our experts will help you to find a solution perfectly appropriate for your specific situation.
